We are very sorry to report that there has been another case of senseless vandalism in the old woods. A mature Oak was severely damaged with what appears to be an axe.
The damage is serious and it is unlikely the tree will survive the attack.
The damage has been reported to Gavin Henderson at Cormac who work on behalf of the land owners, Cornwall County Council.
If you have any information about the vandalism please get in touch via the website, call AJ on 793468 or drop by in person at the main gate on Steeple Lane between 09:30 and 11:30 any Wednesday, A reward has been offered for information leading to a prosecution.
