Ponds Project update #3

The ponds project has been running for almost a year. Volunteer Chris and his pond-elfs have worked long and hard to make the ponds as wildlife friendly as possible. Plenty of insect and amphibian life have already made the ponds their home.

Not being one to take things for granted, Chris decided to put a trail camera up covering the biggest pond to see if any other wildlife had taken advantage of the ponds during the recent summer dry spell.

Much to his surprise he got the following pictures.

Cheeky grey squirel dropping in for a drink.

It certainly seems like it's a case of "build it and they will come".
